Hello! 

Having met whilst travelling and volunteering in Nepal in 2003, we lived together in both Scotland and South West England, before seeking out our next adventure in Scandinavia, where we could further our passion for cycling and outdoor swimming, as well as try our hand at some new hobbies like skiing, ice skating and kayaking!

Sweden appealed for its open access to water and forest and excellent, extremely quiet roads and forest tracks for cycling as well as a plethora of family-centric leisure activities.

Having enjoyed exploring Sweden's lakes, forests, beaches and islands for over 10 years, we brought our young family to settle full time in Småland in 2022. 

We are excited to share all that this corner of Sweden has to offer travellers, whether you are seeking endless, beautifully clean and stunning outdoor swimming and kayaking opportunities, solitude in the forest,  peace on your own private deck and jetty on the lake, the freedom to explore miles of empty on and off-road cycling routes, or all of the above!
